PASSAIC COUNTY – The campaign for Passaic County Sheriff is gaining momentum as seasoned law enforcement leader and legendary crimefighter Jerry Speziale receives a significant endorsement from U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright (PA D-08). Representative Cartwright, known for his dedication to public service and commitment to community safety, has thrown his support behind Speziale's candidacy, citing his proven track record and work ethic.

Speziale, is a decorated law enforcement veteran with over three decades of experience, which included being Chief of Police of the Hazelton, PA Police Department from 2016 to 2019. Representative Cartwright, as the congressman for that district, worked with Speziale during that time to deliver on funding and resources for the Hazelton Police Department. Speziale’s endorsement of Representative Cartwright helped him defend his record against Republican opponents who were falsely accusing him of defunding the police.
